What We Ordered
Tumeric Fried Chicken & Green Sambal 💰 $9.20 · ⭐ 8.5/10💰 $9.20 · ⭐ 8.5/10

This was the standout dish. The chicken was really tender and well-seasoned throughout. The green sambal added a nice tangy, spicy element that balanced the rich turmeric flavours. Worth the slightly higher price point.
Penang Mutton Korma 💰 $10.20 · ⭐ 8/10💰 $10.20 · ⭐ 8/10

The mutton was properly tender and the korma sauce had good depth. There's a nice balance of spice and sweetness that works really well with their fragrant coconut rice as well! This was such a unique variation of Nasi Lemak that was super interesting to try :p
KL Crispy Pork Belly Berempah 💰 $7.90 · ⭐ 7.5/10💰 $7.90 · ⭐ 7.5/10

Good crispy texture and a nice ratio of fat to lean meat. The pork belly wasn't as tender as I'd like, but for the price, it's still decent value. The berempah spices gave it a good flavour profile though. This was also another unique variation of Nasi Lemak that was interesting to try apart from the usual ones we have in Singapore.
Nonya Green Sambal Fish 💰 $7.90 · ⭐ 7/10💰 $7.90 · ⭐ 7/10

The fish was fried well and had good flavour, especially with the green sambal. Just be prepared for quite a few bones to be careful of. But the fish meat went so well with the fragrant coconut rice.
Mee Siam 💰 $2.80 · ⭐ 7/10💰 $2.80 · ⭐ 7/10

Nothing fancy, just a solid plate of mee siam. The portion and ingredients however, is really generous for the price, and it pairs well with their spicy sambal. Good value if you want something simple :)
Discounts

The student and senior citizen deals are particularly good value at $5.50 for a main plus drink after 2:30pm. There's also an early bird 30% discount before 11:30am, which makes it even more budget-friendly.
Menu
They have an extensive menu with many other unique Nasi Lemak variations such as Nonya Chicken Nasi Lemak and more as well!

Overall Thoughts
Madness Nasi Lemak delivers on its promise of unique nasi lemak variations at reasonable prices. The portions are generous, the flavours are generally good, and the student discounts make it particularly attractive for budget-conscious diners. While not every dish is exceptional, there's enough variety and value to make it worth a visit.
Would I return? Yes! If im looking for a budget friendly meal in town :)
