CATEA: Free Entry Cat Cafe in Singapore With No GST & Service Charge
CATEA
We visited this quiet cozy cat cafe with free entry! They serve fragrant Chinese teas and pastries with no GST or service charge :)
What We Ordered
Royal Chrysanthemum 💰 $16 · ⭐ 7/10💰 $16 · ⭐ 7/10

The tea had such a delightful aroma and left a refreshing aftertaste. The sweet plums that came with it were a nice touch and balanced the floral notes well.
Love Story 💰 $20 · ⭐ 7/10💰 $20 · ⭐ 7/10

Comes as a set with pure rose tea and a rose mocktail. The pure tea was mild, but the mocktail was really refreshing with soothing floral rose notes. The presentation was lovely as well. I personally prefer the mocktail as it was sweeter and had more flavour.
Crimson Glory Rose Chinese Pastry 💰 $6 · ⭐ 6/10💰 $6 · ⭐ 6/10

Flaky pastry with creamy taro filling. It was delicious, though I wished the taro flavour was stronger. Still a decent pairing with the teas.
Snacks 💰 $5 · ⭐ 6/10💰 $5 · ⭐ 6/10

The broad beans were salty and crunchy. The hawthorn snacks tasted like standard hawthorn treats, nothing special but nice to snack on.
These ADORABLE BABIES
Sorry i need a section just to show how CUTE these ragdoll cats were. They were super docile and quite friendly too

PS. Each person has to order at least one menu item, and reservations are preferred as it gets full fast (so it's quite hard to walk in)
Overall Thoughts
The menu items were not bad but nothing too exceptional. I would say their selling point would be their adorable cats and the peaceful atmosphere. The No GST/service charge policy is always a win as well for us :p
Do note that it does get slightly squeezy when the crowd comes as their space is quite small
Would I return? Maybe, if i need pet therapy from those adorable cats
